The KSU Innovation Launch Pad (ILP) is a 6-session workshop modeled after the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps program and supported by the KSU Office of Intellectual Property Development (OIPD).
Innovation Launch Pad looks to serve KSU as a sandbox assisting in customer discovery and preparing Faculty for opportunities like I -Corps and Georgia Research Alliance Funding.
Innovation Launch Pad’s 6-session workshop provides training and guidance to KSU faculty, staff, students, and community partners on the principles of lean start-up methodology and customer discovery to bring their business concepts to the consumer market. Followed by 6-months of asynchronous coaching, members are able to gain additional guidance and training.
This program is open to Kennesaw State University faculty, staff, or students or nominees of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce. Teams are required to be composed of an Entrepreneurial Lead, Technical Lead, and a Mentor. Mentors do not need to be affiliated with KSU, and teams will be assisted with the placement of mentors.
